Talbots had an "internet service upgrade" issue this week that resulted in them charging my credit card $353.44 without ever placing an order, basically amounting to theft. I have not got a satisfactory response. Instead, I've been placed on hold for extensive periods of time, told the person who could help wasn't in, my calls dropped while on hold with no one following up, etc. End result is that they have utterly failed to return the money they took. I now have to file a claim with my bank and wait for the claim process to resolve while I am out over $350. Don't trust this company! View Gripe »

Pant-a-monium promotion online stated all sale pants were reduced to $19.99 for one day only. The arrow marked " shop sale" took me to a page where the bistretch pants that normally sell for $89 were marked SALE in red and reduced in price. When I entered the promotion code, it did not take, so I called customer service, who says that the "all sale pants for $19.99 doesnt apply to my pants because they are already on a "different sale" ?????????? Return/ Refund (4/29/14)
Rtrn'd items recieved as a gift w/o rcpt. Credited $132. Policy states rtrns w/o rcpt 2 b credited current list price. Called cust serv, correct amount to be credited $440. Per reps advice, rtrn'd 2 store, stated I was credited imprprly & 2 call cust serv w/ ?s. She refusd, gave me wrong # 2 corp. Rtrn'd 2 store, clerk very rude & insisted she acted according to policy.
