Booking and Room Readiness plus personnel attitude (7/27/16)

On July 26, 2016 my husband, daughter and 2 granddaughters stayed at Ramada in Trenton, Ontario. We had booked through Hotwire, which I can only assume Ramada was a willing partner in or it would not have happened. Yes our price was less but that is the plus of using Hotwire. We booked a room with two double beds. My husband called the hotel prior to our coming to let them know we would not arrive until 9:30 - 10:00 p.m. We also requested a crib for the baby. The crib was in the room, not made up, but there. The room was a surprise. Only one double bed and a pull out couch. The couch had not been pulled out or made up. When I questioned the desk clerk I was informed of the following: - Hotwire considers a sofa bed a double bed so Ramanda had nothing to say about it - it was too bad the sofa bed was not made up but it was late and housekeeping had already left - really we got the room at a cheaper price than their other customers so why was I complaining - more to the story  View Gripe »

hotel service fee (2/13/16)

When registerd we were not adviced about the hotel survice fee of $90 ($5 per day for 18 days), in the Ramada inn& suites, Tucson east, AZ. In the confirmation it was not mentioned, nor in the electronic application. I find this disturbing, after 20 years as a faitfull customer. I am not happy.
