Wedding Ring and Band (1/11/16)

The engagement ring we purchased was from Jared and they custom designed a wedding band to go along with it. The band is faulty, shares prongs, and each time it has been inspected, the diamonds had become loose. We have luckily not lost any diamonds, but now Jared is pressing us to fully replace the ring at double our initial investment a mere two years after purchasing ($10,000). In addition, they stated that anything custom doesn't have a trade in value comparable to the sales price. All we are seeking is a ring replacement at the current carat weight, quality, and value from our original purchase. No one from the store, the 800 number, or the claims adjuster that they assigned us is willing to discuss this being an option. We have reached out the the regional manager twice and haven't even been graced with a call back to discuss it. I feel violated and disrespected. I believe they pull this unfair business practice to bait you into paying double for new jewelry.  View Gripe »
