Horrible Web Interface / Worse Service (6/6/16)

I used the Fandango website to purchase 12 tickets for a movie this coming Thursday - for a child's birthday party. When I look at the confirmation, it appears that they were for the wrong day and the showtime has passed. I did everything right, but there must have been an issue with the website. I contact Fandango and they tell me "too bad" and to read their policies. They are CROOKS!  View Gripe »

Refund/Exchange Policy (12/22/15)

As a Christmas present for my children, I went online to order 4 movie tickets for Thursday (Christmas Eve). The session timed out and when I continued, it saved the time and the amount of tickets I wanted, but apparent defaulted the date to today. I realized the error once I got the email confirmation. This was at 11:17A, and the showtime was to be 1:00P. I called immediately and was promptly put on hold for 48 minutes before I got a human being on the phone. "Kimberley" informed me that there was nothing she could do because the showtime was in less than two hours. I told her that when I purchased the tickets, it was already within the two hour time frame, so that seemed a little odd of a policy. I also told her I did not want my money back, I just wanted to change the date. She said there "are policies in place for a reason, so therefore, there was nothing she could do". Purchased tickets using Fandango. Never recieved the confirmation. Called customer service and was on hold for over 45 minutes. Will NEVER use this service again. Wish I had looked at thier ratings prior to purchasing the tickets online. Bought lesson is the best one. Never again.  View Gripe »

Bad company (7/20/15)

This is an awful company. The put you on hold just so you will hang up. i bought tickets to a movie and wasnt able to go.i called to try and get my money back.i never even got to talk to anyone.I called every day for 7 days straight.i will never use this company again  View Gripe »

Waste of time (7/19/15)

Purchased the tickets thinking it would be a step saver - weren't able to attend OR get back to get a refund within their 2 hours? of the show. How many folks have money floating in "Fandango" that are unused tickets? Absolutely no reason that the tickets couldn't have been switched to a different show; the unused confirmation number means Fandango was never charged for them.  View Gripe »

Bad customer service (7/17/15)

Terrible, terrible customer service at Fandango!! Wouldn't honor an error THEY made, twice in a row on their website. Charging me for tickets I didn't even want. When I tried to exchange one set, it didn't work in completing the transaction. Again, something is wrong. They stick to their policy and do not budge, which only allows you to have no say on any of the particulars. They were so adamant, it was obvious they could care less and was pretty much scripted with a NO at each turn. I had never called to complain before. Frustrated Customer (7/16/15)

Just purchased a movie online using a promocode. It is being advertised allover the website, including during checkout. I enter it and it tells me it is expired or incorrect, and it charges my card. I called customer service and the lady over the phone makes no attempt to refund my account. I told her i don't want the movie ticket if the promo code does not apply. She says there is nothing we can do. No refunds or exchanges!!! I mentioned I am simply not interested at all, and I dont want to pay for something im not gonna watch. She says what I do with the ticket is up to me! I ask to speak to her supervisor, puts me on hold, and she answers again saying the supervisor is busy and I will get a call back soon. Waste of time and money (7/15/15)

I used Fandango to purchase tickets to a movie 30 minutes prior to the movie started. Missed the movie. In most cases companies give your a refund with no problem or at the very least credit/voucher. They did not even respond to my email request for a refund until a weeks after I filed a report on the Better Business Bureau. Still no refund :(  View Gripe »
