Richfield WI store Gun Counter Service (4/27/15)
I was at the Gun Counter on April 26 2015, waited 10 minutes for a Cabela's representative to acknowledge I was there. Another representative came back from break and immediately took the next person closest to him, rather than making any attempt to determine which customer was waiting the longest. Given the lack of customer service on the April 26th, I called the store this morning (April 27th) and was put on hold 3 times waiting for the gun counter to pick up. They never did. The operator eventually came back and said "I'm sorry, no one is answering" and then hung up. Has Cabela's gotten so big that they don't care about their customers? At least at the other outdoor stores, if they are busy, they take your name and number and call back. There was no attempt to try to keep my potential purchase opportunity "live". Truly unfortunate that this once great retailer has lost the service component of what made them so successful. View Gripe »
